Our Mission

The Savridi Singers Association, a registered charitable organization, is an auditioned women’s choir in Calgary, Alberta. Our mission is to provide education and performance opportunities to enhance and expand choir members’ abilities, promote the development of choral music and highlight Canadian talent, and stimulate public interest in and appreciation for choral music.

Being a Savridi is a very special bond you will not find elsewhere!

Women in our group come from all walks of life.  We are nurses, stay at home moms, teachers, engineers, psychologists, retirees, accountants and more.  We range in age from our late teens to our 60’s and beyond. Depending on our lives outside choir, our group has anywhere from 12-26 members per semester, with a core group that remains.

We have ladies who have been with us for many years (and one who has been with us in 1986 when the choir was founded!)  We have a unique relationship with each other and being a Savridi is a very special bond you will not find elsewhere!
