Savridi Singers were singing in a construction site this weekend as the Bella Theatre at Mount Royal College opened for a sneak a peak in mid-construction. We were part of a mass choir showing off the sound as the public came to check it out. Very fun to sing with Jean-Louis and Calgary’s wonderful choirs!
Free admission with a non-perishable donation to the Calgary Food Bank. To guarantee your seat, get your tickets through EventBrite.ca. We will have some musical guests and we’ll entertain our crowd with our usual enthusiasm singing a wide variety of songs, including Christmas classics and audience singalongs!

We are still interested in getting a few more singers so if you think this sounds fun, email us at email@example.com for more information.
The Savridi Singers are always looking for sopranos and altos who want to sing, laugh and learn with this choir. And we especially looking for second altos! So if you are that elusive enigma, the “real” contralto, and you are looking for a good choir, hey, we are looking for you!
Rehearsals start on September 3, 2014 with an open house! Come have an evening of fun singing with the choir and getting to know our fabulous ladies! We meet every Wednesday evening in Lakeview. Does that work for you? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
This Saturday, May 10 at 7 pm in the Leacock Theatre at Mount Royal University, we will be holding our spring concert. The title is “Love’s Shining Circle” and it will feature a new work by Jeff Enns based on a beautiful Sarah Teasdale poem. Come enjoy some music on a cool Saturday evening while we wait for spring in Calgary!
